1. WomanWoman use to be descriminated and sometimes still are today. Sometimes it seems that some people think they belong at home. Remember we as woman were made from Adam's rib. (Genesis 2: 22-23) As woman we can do anything a man can do. There are some (I'm sorry to say) men think that woman need to be controled the man. Some men even think that gives them the right to put there hands on them. Not saying there is some woman who hit there men. Either way this is a horrible thing to do. We are apart of God and hurting others hurts God. All men are not all like this and niether does woman.
2. Obesity
Some people think that obese people are fat and lazy. That they stink and deserve being teased and laughed at. They are not. God thinks we are all beauty beyond compare and don't think any different. If you think others are that way you are thinking god is that way. 1 Corinthians16:3 says "Do you know that you yourselves are God's temple and God spirit lives in you?" You tease others you are teasing God. I knew one unhappy obese people but I also knew one unhappy thin person. Both of them was me. You have to love yourself from the inside out. I'm still working on that.
3. Homeless/Poverty
Some people seem to think that if a person is in poverty or is homeless they are lazy, unmotivated, and unwilling to work. That is wrong in most cases. That person could be sick or in todays economy lost there job and can't find one. They are not lazy. Not one bit! They want a work but they cannot. Who in the book of Acts did they remember? They remembered the poor(Acts 2:45, Acts 4:32-35). Period. End of story. We are all called to serve God by serving others like the poor. Think about it. Pray about it. Know God loves them too along with you. Just remember something can go wrong in life and you might be in the same boat as these people are and would you like someone help you? So think about that. Volunteer. You never know when it might come back to you someday.
4. Mental Illness
Mental illness is a special topic. Some people, not all, who do crimes makes people who have mental illnesses look bad. Don't get me wrong there are some who need the insantiy plea. We are not all killers, we do not all commit crimes. Most of us are just normal people who need extra help. We are not weardos. I have mental illnesses myself. It runs in the family. God doesn't love just love the sane people. He loves the mentally ill also. I pray for every one who is in the mental hospital because I know what it is like. So don't be afraid of us. Don't discriminate us. We don't discriminate you.
5. Religion
Religions around the world have been descriminated against. Some religions people have been killed for there beilefs. Horrible deaths. Just look at Hitlers reign. Thousands of people killed. Even Christians even before Hitler killed jewish people. If you don't beileve me look at some of the history. Look at some countries today putting christians in prisions and/or killed. Even back in history christians killed other christians because they type of christianity they believe was a little different. There might be some other religions that where persecuted that I don't know of. What are we called as Christians to do? I can tell you what we are not suppost to do. We are not suppost to tease people, laugh at people, discriminate them because they don't believe what we believe. Muslum, Jahova Witness, Islam, Athiest,ect. As christians we are called to convert and tell them the good news of Jesus Christ like the deciples in the book of Acts. Period. End of story.
6. Race
There is no room for this type of discrimination. God is color blind. He don't say I love the white people but hate the rest. NO NO NO!!! God loves all of us no matter what color we are. KKK and Neo-Natzis are so misinformed. There hate for what God made is sickening. Skin color does not make us different. It is what the inside that counts. God don't see color of skin he sees souls good an bad. Being white doesn't make me better than everyone else. We are all the same. God thinks so and I think so. God loves us the same. I love everyone no matter what color they are.
7.Gay
I know about Sodom and Gomorrah but Jesus said in John 8:3-11 says "then the scribes and the pharisees brough a woman cought in adultery making her stand in the center. Teacher they said to him this woman was caught in the act of commintting adultery. In the law Moses commanded us to stone such woman. So what do you say. They asked this to trap him in order that they might have evidence to accuse him. Jesus stooped down and started writing on the ground with his finger. When they persisted in questioning him he stood up and said to them the one without sin among you should be the first to throw a stone at her. Then he stooped down again and continued writing on the ground. Wehn they heard this they left one by one, starting with the older men. Only he was left with the woman in the center. When Jesus stood up, he said to her Woman where are they? Has no one condemned you? No one Lord she answered. Neither do I condemn you said Jesus Go and from now on do not sin any more." Jesus didn't condem her. Could you see Jesus saying you can be forgiven for having sex before marriage but you who are gay cannot. NO NO NO!! Being gay is a sin but Jesus died for ALL our sins not just for certain sins. We as christians need to turn these people away from sins and come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ and the love of God our Father. The holy spirit don't pick and choose. He is in all of us.
I leave you now with a bible verse from Matthew 25:34-46 says "Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you took care of Me; I was in prison and you visited Me.’ “Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or without clothes and clothe You? When did we see You sick, or in prison, and visit You?’ “And the King will answer them, ‘I assure you: Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.’Then He will also say to those on the left, ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the Devil and his angels! For I was hungry and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink; I was a stranger and you didn’t take Me in; I was naked and you didn’t clothe Me, sick and in prison and you didn’t take care of Me.’ “Then they too will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or without clothes, or sick, or in prison, and not help You?’ “Then He will answer them, ‘I assure you: Whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for Me either.’ “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
